In the wake of the election, many people are taking action to contact their representatives in Washington for myriads of issues. Below is the contact information for the current and elected representatives in Michigan, please note that email addresses are no longer being listed but can be obtained directly through each website by filling out a form to verify your location. If you are unsure of your district, please visit this website.

It has been reported that calling is the most effective way to get your voice heard, listed with each rep is their Washington phone number as well as their local office phone number. If you are unsure of what to say there are many scripts and templates available online, I will provide a script below for contacting your representatives about the appointment of Stephen Bannon.

The appointment of Stephen Bannon as Trump's Chief Strategist is causing shock waves and fear throughout the country as he is infamous for running the website Breitbart known for its alt-right, white supremacist, hateful ideologies. It is vital that our representatives in Washington know that we are against this appointment, here is a helpful script from ATTN outlining a simple message:

"Hello, I am your constituent from [INSERT LOCATION] and I was wondering when [INSERT NAME] was planning on releasing a statement condemning Steve Bannon, the white supremacist who Donald Trump has appointed as his chief strategist.”
