If you ever went to Walt Disney World or Disneyland as a child (or, let's face it, as an adult), you have probably had to urge to work there. But the process must be difficult, right? Not necessarily! The jobs Disney World offers are endless and are able to be completed as a college student or an older adult.

For example, you can be a Character Attendant, Character Performer or in Costuming Operations. Being a Character Attendant entails providing guests with information about show schedules, character locations and visitation times, providing audience control, including handling challenging guest situations, ensuring the safety of Character Performers and our guests. A Character Performer calls for potentially being a type of mascot (in a hot, sweaty costume) or a character such as a prince or a princess. Most of these character performers must audition before attaining a job, and some even require certain heights! In costume operations, one must bring costumes from one location to another and may help produce or mend them as well.

If none of these sound interesting, there are an infinite number of roles belonging to Disney World that can be found here. These run from a Photo Pass Photographer to being a Fairy Godmother in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Being a college student has many benefits in Disney World: you get housing close to the parks, public transportation and multiple opportunities to meet different people from around the world. On their YouTube channel, the details and fun aspects of the internships are shown.

Growing up, working at Disney World was a dream, as in I always thought it could never happen to an average, non-princess, girl like me! However, this college program provides so many options for different types of personalities.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
