You're hungry. There's still a couple hours left until dinner but you want to eat something. You think of reaching for that bag of chips. It's so tempting but you know it's not the healthiest choice of snack. You choose it anyway and say you'll eat healthier next time... every time. Everyone struggles with being healthy. So I put together a couple things that I try to follow to achieve that healthy lifestyle!
1. Replace chips with a healthier snack such as fruits and vegetables
2. Try to drink at least 2L of water a day!
This equals about 4 regular water bottles. This may be a lot for some people, but keeping your body hydrated will contribute greatly to that goal of being healthier
3. Cutting down on carbohydrates!!
Carbs equal calories... feel free to eat some carbs - just not too many!
4. Try not to eat after 7pm or later at night
5. Some digestion tips: lemon and honey in warm water
6. Eating a healthier breakfast
A kale/spinach scramble is a good choice of a healthy breakfast!
