In a world where comic books have started to rampage the media world, it is hard to prove that you are good enough to be in love with the comic book world. People doubt that you actually are actually as big of a fan as comics as you say you are. Well, I have a guide to how to prove that you are a real fan of comics.

Are you ready for this?

Are you sure you are ready?

Here...we...go:

How to prove that you are a real fan of comics? Just be a fan of comics or their movies. You do not need to know everything about every past life of the certain character. You do not need to watch every single comic movie that Marvel and DC has ever made. Loving comic books should not be limited to people that can name every timeline in the entire Marvel Universe. If you do know a lot about the comic world, then that is great! But, we should not be discouraging people from joining all because they have only seen one movie or have only read one comic. We need to be accepting of all the different levels of comic fans. Without new people joining, the community would become stagnant with the exact same people there all the time.

From what I have learned in my time of loving comic books, our community has the hardest time accepting change. Whether it be new fans or a black woman playing Mary Jane. Some people have cherished the characters of certain comic books since their childhood. It is hard to accept change, but without change we never move forward. Our comics would be filled with only white cis males and white cis females. We would not have some of the greatest characters today without change, ie. Deadpool, Falcon, Cyborg, and Black Panther. The comic book community needs to start getting better at accepting new people and new changes.

I love this community so much, but if I had listened to all the people who called me a fake comic book reader when I first started out, I would not be who I am today. My love for comics has out reached any other fandom I have ever joined. The greatest part about comic books is that it changes with the time.

Now, we as readers, need to change with them.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
