The secret to being attractive is pretty simple considering that if you are a human being, it comes naturally to you.

Let's start from the top. We were created by God. He molded each and every piece of us, including our hearts, which hold our deepest desires and attractions. God created us in His image to know, love, and serve Him. God created our hearts to naturally be attracted to the One thing that satisfies us: God, Himself. Therefore, the more we imitate our Lord, the more attractive we will become. The more we reflect God, the more others will be drawn to us

We are all attracted to love. We desire to love and to be loved. God created us for love and out of pure, perfect love. Essentially, we long for God when we long for love because God is love.

A few things happen when our eyes are opened to love; we begin imitating God and striving to be who He created us to be.

First, we become very joyful. Since it is literally engraved in our very being that the blueprint to joy is by knowing, loving, and serving God then the more our will conforms to His, the more joyful we become. I'm not sure about you, but I find that joyful people are very attractive.

Second, we become peaceful. Perfect Iove casts out fear. The more perfectly we let God love us and love Him back, the less we have to fear. The more every single thing in life starts to line up with His will, the more peaceful our souls become. Once again, I don't know about you, but it's very attractive when someone has a comforting peace about them.

Third, we become attractive. Others are drawn to joy and peace; therefore when we posses these qualities, we become attractive. The more we let God transform us into His image, the more we begin to resemble the best version of ourself.

Looking to the example of one of the most attractive women of our time, Saint Mother Teresa gives us the perfect model of how to be attractive in the Fragrance Prayer, which she recited after receiving Communion daily:

Dear Jesus, help me to spread Your fragrance everywhere I go.
Flood my soul with Your spirit and life.
Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly,
That my life may only be a radiance of Yours.

Shine through me, and be so in me
That every soul I come in contact with
May feel Your presence in my soul.
Let them look up and see no longer me, but only Jesus!

Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine,
So to shine as to be a light to others;
The light, O Jesus will be all from You; none of it will be mine;
It will be you, shining on others through me.

Let me thus praise You the way You love best, by shining on those around me.
Let me preach You without preaching, not by words but by my example,
By the catching force of the sympathetic influence of what I do,
The evident fullness of the love my heart bears to You.

Amen

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
