Being A Ray Of Sunshine In A World Full of Darkness Isn't Easy, But It's Rewarding

I choose to bring positivity into both my own life and others, instead of succumbing to the negativing in the world.

Let's face it, the world is not always filled with sunshine and rainbows, and our lives aren't always either. Our lives can be filled with dark storm clouds, and it can seem like our entire world is filled with them. But for me, I've always tried to be a ray of sunshine that peaks through those dark clouds. I don't try to just bring light into my own life, but I try to bring light into the lives of others, too. It's never easy to be that ray of sunshine, but I do it anyway.

Lately, I've been trying to remove any sort of negative energy that's around me. My personal belief is that in order to bring positivity into the lives of others, you first have to bring positivity into your own life. You have to take care of yourself and do what's best for you. It's easier said than done, especially for me, since I've struggled with things like my mental health for so long, and even today I still do. I do know how hard it is to feel happy and positive when it actually feels like the storm clouds are rolling in. But I've used positive thinking to improve my mental health. It took years to teach myself how to do so, but I never gave up on it.

It's not just important to incorporate positivity into your own life but to spread that same positivity to those around you.

I've always had a love for helping others. I have a tendency to see the good in others, even if they don't seem like the nicest person. We're all human who needs help every now and again. The main reason I try to help bring light into other's lives, it helps me personally. Bringing positivity and happiness into someone's life gives me a feeling of joy that I believe can only be achieved by bringing joy to others. I've always been taught that you never truly know what people are going through. Not everyone talks about their emotions or struggles. I firmly believe that if I help someone and make them happy at the right time, it could be something that they desperately needed, and that alone is satisfying.

I think nothing is more important than to be positive in life than to be negative. Let's be honest, negative energy is horrible for us, and it's definitely something that we would like to live without. We only experience life, and I just don't see the point of wasting my own breath and energy being a negative influence on someone else's life.

Our world would be a much better place if there was no negativity and we were all kind to one another. I know this is wishful thinking, but what I do know is that I can personally make a positive impact in my own life and in someone else's life, even if the rest of the world seems dark.

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
