The last two weeks before spring break may be some of the toughest weeks of the year. The first tests in all your classes get piled on while you just look down the road to that beach vacation. College is not easy. I think everyone will agree to that, and that week-long break in the middle is honestly the only way we survive. Even if that beach vacation is not in your cards, cause lets face it we are college kids, that week off school is heavenly. Keeping your head in the game is hard, but here are some great tips.

1. The library is your best friend

Now I am not saying to spend every waking second in the library because that would be torture. Being in the library, at least for me, is a great way to stay focused. Now there is always a time to get sidetracked and watched 3 episodes of NCIS, but the library atmosphere does help to condone studying. You are surrounded by other hardworking students so it helps to influence you to stay focused.

2. Go to the gym

The closer we get to spring break the more we do not want to do any homework or quizzes. Well instead of spending all that time in front of the tv might as well get that spring break body. It allows you to spend time doing something productive without wasting your time. It also helps you to look great once that beach trip rolls around.

3. Set a Countdown

14 days and 12 days are very different.

4. Go to Every Class

Make a pact with yourself that you will attend every class from here to break. This will keep you in the loop of things that are due and make you think about school work. It will remind you that you still have 14 days of the real world left.

5. Don't Go to Parties

I know it sounds awful, but you will have enough fun on spring break. That is the whole purpose. These next two weeks just try to focus on making it through all your homework and packing. This will make your liver happy also because it is going to hate you after spring break.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
