Success in college can sometimes be hard to come by. There's so much going on all of the time, it's easy to get lost in the chaos. One moment everything is fine and you have all A's and your high school body, the next you're struggling to bring that D up to at least a C+, wondering why your favorite jeans won't zip up all the way. Needless to say, surviving college is hard. The Office characters break down some quick tips to ensure utmost success:

1. Try to leave all of your work until the night before it's due.

That way, all of your motivation will be directed towards your work, and you will be able to get it done faster. Procrastination is always the answer.

2. People love it when you make a scene wherever you go.

They think it's really funny and gain so much respect for you. It really shows how cool you are.

3. Professors encourage you to interrupt their lectures to ask a bunch of irrelevant questions.

That way, they know you're social and interested in engaging with them during class time.

4. Feel free to sleep in on a test day once in a while.

Sleep is a necessity, so if you're not getting enough, skip that 8 AM class that just happens to have a test scheduled for the day. Your professor will understand. They were in college once, too.

5. If you want to play your music on that loud speaker of yours every night - do it.

All of your neighbors will hear it (and I mean all of them, even the fourth floor), and will want to come by and hang out with you.

6. Despite the rumors, you can really eat whatever you want, whenever you want to.

The freshmen 15 really isn't a thing, and I mean you're stressed all of the time, so you have to compensate by eating, right?

7. That being said, don't worry about going to the gym on a regular basis.

Walking around campus will suffice for any exercise you'll need. Going to the gym, as well, looks like you're just trying to be an over-achiever. Besides, you have too much work to do to fit in a gym schedule.

8. Bring your dog to school with you.

The Resident Assistant's love to see all the different dogs in the dorm, you'll start off on a great foot with them right away. And, honestly, having your dog at school with you will be a huge stress reliever.

9. To get your crush to like you, make sure to say the opposite of what you mean/want.

They'll catch on right away, and think it's this really cute game you're playing. They'll actually end up liking you more.

10. Set up your schedule so that you have an 8 am class and a 9 pm class on the same day.

You start your day early and end it super late. That way, you're as productive as possible. Going to bed late and getting up early - what could be better!

11. Don't worry if your bank account is in the negatives, there are really no consequences.

I promise it's really fine. It happens to the best of us. Just don't worry about it and continue to buy things. It'll work itself out.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
