Spring break as college students is the time when we have full control over what we do and where we go (within our wallet's reason).

Most people go to Florida or home, others stay in their dorm or to a lake cabin. But wherever we go, we get to decide how much fun we have.

And with more options and less parental supervision, us college students finally have the ability to choose whether we end up chilling by the waters or end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning. It's so much different than it was when we weren't legal adults. In fact, here are 13 ways that nothing is the same.

1. Nothing is free anymore.

2. You don't need your parents to drive you around anymore.

3. You meet more new people.

4. You can go almost anywhere you want.

5. You may just stay in all day.

6. You probably end up breaking more laws...

7. You can drink any night you want.

8. You have many more regrets.

9. You never know what's next.

10. Sometimes you travel with people you don't know.

11. Sometimes you have to admit that you just don't have the funds.

12. You have more late night talks with strangers and say stuff like:

13. You find more boys than when you were in high school.

Have a fun and safe Spring Break!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
