How She's The Man Accurately Describes College

A classic chick flick that is probably describing your life too.

I had an epiphany the other day while watching the movie, She's the Man. You know the movie, Amanda Bynes pretends to be a boy in order to prove to everyone that girls can play soccer just as well as boys. Classic romantic comedy, where Channing Tatum is shirtless a lot and is super-duper attractive pretty much the entire duration

Well as I was watching the movie, I realized that this movie is currently describing my college life at the moment (minus Channing Tatum falling in love with me of course).

When people ask me why I haven't started studying for my exam tomorrow.

When my roommates ask me to go on a run with them.

Me trying to talk to my campus crush.

When my parents remind me to eat my vegetables.

When my philosophy professor tells me that our final will be cumulative.

When my guy friends ask if they are dateable.

When there is free food on campus.

When I ace a midterm I thought I failed.

When the one person I actually know in a class won't give me their notes.

When your friends ask to hang out the whole weekend

When my biology professor asks me a question.

When my jam comes on at a party...or just anywhere.

So here's to a classic, must watch at least once a month movie. Here's to ten years and perfectly describing my college life.

Also, it looks like I am not alone in thinking that She's The Man is pretty accurate. Check out this other article that shows how Viola Hastings really is all of us.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.

I'll admit it, I have a condition called RBF or, if you will, Resting Bitch Face.

Anna Kendrick, poor Kristen Stewart, the Queen of England are all life-long sufferers of RBF. Victoria Beckham even made a career out of it! And though it's usually used to describe women, some men are also afflicted. Kanye West is the best example of this.
