There is no doubting that within the most recent weeks of Pokemon Go's release, it has become a commercial and financial success. It has made over 14 million, and brought people closer together than ever before. Along with bringing us new friends, it brings us a new reason to go outside. With all of these Pokemon being in far and distant places, we need to get outside. This is a great change when you think about when we were all kids playing, we could just sit inside for hours to catch them all, but things have changed for the better.

So for those who don't know how it works, it essentially is a game that is based off of your GPS and in order for you to catch different Pokemon you need to go out and explore new towns, new areas, and just anywhere where you think there could be Pokemon. This becomes very easy with the use of the nearby Pokemon tracker that they give you in the bottom corner of the app, so that you can see how close a Pokemon is.

I can honestly say this game makes you move. The moment you get your first Pokemon, you want to keep going, but there's a catch. You can't catch them all in the same area you have been playing in. You need to travel and the best way to do that is to walk. You can walk around your town, or city, and you still have a long way to go before you even have close to them all.

Along with catching the Pokemon, there are eggs that you can hatch. In order to hatch these eggs, you need to walk up to 10 km. I remember when I got my first egg, I had to walk a simple 2 km. Well, I wasn't in an area where I can just walk from point A to point B, so I literally walked in circles around my campground in order to hatch the egg. I can honestly say that after walked around just to hatch an egg, I could feel it in my legs.

Now I'm not saying that Pokemon has players who normally don't go outside, but there is a big difference in playing the original Pokemon, and those who are playing Pokemon Go. There wasn't a need for us to move around in the beginning. There wasn't the sense of physical activity that we need to achieve now. We didn't need to go outside to "Catch Them All," we just needed a comfortable place to sit down and play for a few hours.

Where Pokemon Go really helps out is that most of it most dedicated players are those who played it in the 90s when it first came out and was big. Now they are all a little bit older, but there is still a way for them to feel the nostalgia, and get a little bit of exercise at the same time.

I cannot wait to see where Pokemon Go goes from here, but all I can say is that it is on it's way to becoming "The Very Best, Like No One Ever Was."

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
