Everyone over the age of 35 is always saying how terrible the current generation, us so-called Millennials, are the worst; and since all these people are saying it it must be true right? Right? Right. Obviously, you dummy. But what makes a Millennial a Millennial? And how do you become a Millennial? Good thing you asked because I'm going to tell you regardless of whether or not you did. So here are 10 easy steps to become the worst generation in American history.

1. Disrespect your elders:

One of the easiest ways to do this is to tell them that you don't appreciate their use of racial slurs. It's their God given right! How dare you censor them!

2. Complain about how going to college has put you in a ludicrous amount of debt before the age of 25:

"If you didn't want to be in debt you shouldn't have gone to college! You should have just gotten a job; that's what I did." - Some Old Person

3. Whine about how you don't have any money because you're only able to get a part-time job:

"If you wanted a well paying job you should have gone to college, that's what I did." - That Same Old Person

4. Prove how lazy you are by being a full-time student.

5. Become a liberal monster by not caring about possibly sharing a public restroom with trans people.

6. Treat women like actual human beings:

If you can't do this (and, I mean, who can, am I right?) just substitute women with the LGBT community.

7. Waste most of your time on the internet:

You can do this by sharing verified articles exposing systemic oppression and government corruption.

8. Take people's guns away.

9. Wear your pants too low: Kids still do this, right?

10. Be born after 1989:

This is the most egregious offense. You're probably the reason Y2K happened. What's that? Y2K didn't happen? Oh...well then...Young people still suck!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.
