How I Stay Fit

1) I buy lots of bikinis

I love shopping and a great way to stay fit is to spend your money on bikinis instead of ice cream.

2) I go to the gym every day

I try to go all the time because it would be a waste of money if I didn’t go. I like to save money so the gym is 26 dollars a day so if I went every day it would be a dollar a day. So I can only miss about 4 days a month.

3) eating a lot of fruit

After the gym I try to eat fruit instead of ice cream. Baya bar is a life saver because there fruit bowls are esthetically pleasing. They are great to look at and to eat. They taste like heaven. I highly recommend the Bella Nutella. A little chocolate is ok because it’s better than eating at cold stone. They also put a super food in the smoothie at the bottom of the bowl which makes it even better for you.

4) I Have the retro app

Most gyms have apps and my gym offers challenges that keep you in shape. You can win gift cards if you meet your goals. This month the challenge is to walk or run a minimum of 15 miles to be entered to win a gift card. I walked more than that but a couple of times my pictures of the machines were blurry and they didn’t go through. I got mad but I didn’t give up because there is always tomorrow. I try walking 5 miles a day and it takes me 99 minutes and it’s not that hard. I just try to get friends on come with me or I listen to music.

5) I have a fitness partner

Having a fitness partner is a great way to actually get ur little peach to the gym. Don’t you want that big peach you see in all the Instagram photos? Is that a yes? Well if you do a great way is to walk on an incline with ur friends and you can really feel it in ur ass. Also the stair master is great and squating of course.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
