And I get it, of course, you want to feel good about yourself when you are potentially going to be seen in a place with many people, possibly judging you, then, of course you get self-conscious because your outfit doesn't cover up the places that you want it to.

But to be completely honest, it makes me a little sad knowing that young men and women are thinking that being "spring break ready" means that they have to be in the best shape of their lives. They start killing their bodies with unrealistic expectations, dangerous diets, and painful gym regimens.

But it shouldn't be like that! Spring break is about having a break from school and having some carefree fun. And that is exactly what it should be; carefree!! However, I do understand that many people can't adopt that mentality just yet, so here are some tips and tricks to get "spring break ready" in time.

Step 1: Find out what you are going to do during the break

If you know you will be around people who will judge you, then do not go. If you want to go to the beach with people who will not judge you, then go. This step is finding out what will make you feel comfortable the whole time.

Step 2: Buy some outfits that make you feel amazing

Pretty self-explanatory, but finding that outfit that makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the world really makes a difference.

Step 3: GO OUT AND HAVE FUN

GO. LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.

Step 4: Have a body then go to the beach

Beach body? Beach + body= beach body

Step 5: Be skinny

Look at your skin, and say, "look I'm skinny."

That's it! Those are all my ~life hacks~ for getting spring break ready. Remember to be safe, have fun, and don't do anything Malia Obama wouldn't do.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
