Given the area you live in, it may or may not feel like fall yet. Personally it's 75 degrees and humid where I am yet it's the middle of October. This may or may not (definitely may) have to do with with global warming, but that's a whole other topic for another time. I get really sad when I have my whole fall wardrobe filled with cardigans and cute sweaters all set up in my closet ready to go, but I can't wear a thing from it. This is why i'm writing this article. For people with the same weather problem struggling to feel those fall vibes.

1. T-Shirt Dresses

T-shirt dresses are my go-to when I'm feeling lazy that day, or unsure of how to dress for the weather. Given their extreme comfort–because it's like wearing a giant soft tee–these come in great handy. The type of material you get also plays a big role. If you get some with a turtle neck it will give your outfit that fall vibe without you dying of heat. Also, finding some with a different texture, like one with a ribbed texture, will also give it a new vibe. This T-shirt dress is from boohoo for $7.00 (it's currently half off).

2. Booties

Who doesn't love booties. These shoes can definitely make an outfit, especially during fall. Pairing these with the cute T-shirt dress you got in that fall shade of burgundy, or with some cute jeans and a plain tee, will give you that fall look without the struggle of weather. Here is one example of some super cute booties from Altar'd State. I personally have the booties and they're the most comfortable pair I have so I highly recommend them. They also look super cute with skirts and jeans. This pair is $79.95.

3. Cute Cutoffs/Boyfriend Jeans

One of my favorite fall looks is some boyfriend or girlfriend jeans, a plain tee of any color, booties, and a cute cardigan. Given the temperature you may have to forgo the cardigan but that doesn't mean you can't still rock the outfit. If it's in the mid 70's, you can easily wear this look and feel like fall. These jeans Altar'd State has great jeans, which is why I recommend their girlfriend jeans that are $59.95.

4. Color Scheme

Fall is all about the colors. The deep reds, oranges and pinks really make the season what it is. So even if you can't wear that super cute cardigan, you can get that nice skirt in a deep red color that screams fall. OR maybe go for the rose pink tee or T-shirt dress.

5. Skirts

Every boutique or general clothing store you go in will have the classic mini skirts either jean or colored. This makes a great staple for a warm fall wardrobe. Given the different textures you can get including corduroy and suede, it will really give a fall feel to any outfit you pair it with. Pairing one of these with some booties and a tee or any color will be a great outfit when fall doesn't feel like fall. This skirt is also Altar'd State. They have many styles and textures to choose from. The one's pictured below are 49.95.

Never let your personal style suffer because the weather isn't co-operating.

Happy October!
