Stop what?

Any thing that causes you emotional, physical, spiritual distress.

In my opinion, everyone and everything has a threshold and if exceeded serious consequences tag along; most of the times, they are negative.

1) It is always nice to be a role model, be someone that people look up to. However, there is always a sense of pressure (direct or indirect) to never loose that balance so that you don't disappoint those looking up to you. This to me is emotional distress that builds up gradually and if not controlled early, you loose yourself, you forget the person you truly are and become a person that lives for the sole purpose of impressing others. DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN, IT IS A BAD PLACE TO BE IN AND HARD TO LEAVE!

2) That awkward moment when people don't recognize you because you lost weight, didn't wear make-up, just simply not dressed up or vice-versa. At this point, those endless comments about how much you have changed CANNOT BE INTERNALIZED! Because physical distress will be waiting for you. This involves intentionally doing things for attention (most of the times bad things) then you can't fix it anymore and it's a mess that quickly spirals out of control.

3) This is the most important one (well at least for me) whatever you believe in, you better put your heart and soul into it. YOUR FAITH HAS TO BE STRONGER THAN YOU FEAR! Just because something is not working out right now, doesn't mean nothing will ever work for you. Keep trying and believing it will work. At any point your faith is shaken, find a way to help restore it because spiritual distress will reel in faster than you imagine and that is when everything will just go south.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
