How Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

It's all worth the wait.

Yes, it is hard being a part from someone you love. It’s even harder when there is a time when you need that person the most and they’re not able to be by your side during that tough time and sometimes you just want them around to see them, and they aren’t there. The only time you get to see their face is when they skype or facetime and even then, it is hard because they only get to talk to you for so long until they have to hang up and get back to what they were doing before they called you.

Although there may be tough times while being far away from that special someone, there are some perks with long distance too. Every time you see that special person in your life after not seeing them for so long, you get that warm feeling back in your heart that you have been missing during the time that you were away from each other. It is a kind of feeling where you will always be excited to see that person because you don’t see one another for as long as you wished to. It’s all worth it in the end though because you get to catch up with that person and talk for hours. All the stress and pain go away when you reunite. It is the best feeling in the world to see that special someone in your life again. Cherish every moment you can, with that person because you never know how long you have to wait again until you see each other face to face next. Every moment is worth it, including the wait if they are a big part of your life. Let them know that you love them and that they are forever in your heart no matter the distance.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
