The "love yourself" campaigns are making a huge impact on society, especially for women. For the first time in years, it is okay to be a plus size and model, and it is acceptable to wear what you want without being shamed. As hard as it might be to love yourself and accept your flaws, it is essential to any relationship. As well as putting yourself first, making sure that you are rested, hydrated and happy can reshape your relationship with yourself. So I have come to the conclusion that dating yourself is a priority. It might feel weird and conceited at first, but once you are used to being alone, solitude seems so sweet.
1. Take yourself on dates
I remember a time when eating alone was embarrassing but it's so nice to sit down, relax and not be forced into an awkward conversation with anyone. You can apologetically scroll through Pinterest and offend no one.
2. Treat yo self
Everyone knows that couples in relationships buy each other gifts. So, do that for yourself.
If something amazing comes your way, be open to it. Don't sell yourself short, but don't be desperate either. If it doesn't work out, you always have yourself to lean on.
