College friends are hands down the best of friends. They see you at your prime, and they see you at times you should probably have a paper bag over your head. They're supportive in nearly every decision you have (whether it's good or bad), and they're always going to be there to make late night trips to the Den for some fried food, or even better, spontaneous trips to Taco Bell.

Here's how true college friends keep you sane with a little help from our good old friend SpongeBob and his sidekick Patrick.

1. They'll always participate in your cheat days.

For whatever reason, many of us have this idea that we can't eat junk food and can only have the occasional treat. But when that moment arrives, and it's Sundae Sunday, you know your college friends are going to willingly tag along with you and devour heaps of ice cream.

2. You'll have inside jokes like no other.

Let's be honest, you and your friends will most likely have a lot of memories that you'll look back on and keep talking about for years. Whether it was that crazy night out in town or watching someone slip and fall in the frozen tundra (I know, I'm terrible). These moments will result in inside jokes that only you guys will understand. Just a code word or an quick eye exchange will have you laughing so hard your stomach will hurt.

3. Time apart becomes unbearable.

When breaks approach, you'll feel completely lost not having your friends right down the hallway. You'll have group messages on the regular just to catch up on the littlest things in life. Work, family, literally everything. Phone calls will become the norm, and when you finally reunite, it'll feel like Christmas morning.

4. "Don't Judge Me" doesn't even have to be said anymore.

You'll no longer feel like you have to watch yourself. Your college friends will make you feel comfortable in your skin. Whether you're having dance parties in your room or walking to the caf in your outfit from the night before, there is absolutely no judgement.

5. You'll have someone to stare down your ex with.

College breakups can be messy, but with a friend by your side, you can move past them and just stare them down when you see them with a "'K, bye" kind of look.

6. You can panic about exams and GPAs together.

As much as I hate to say it, college is more than just having a good time with friends; education is top priority. When you have huge exams and 20-page papers due and realize you haven't even started them yet, don't worry, you can panic with your friends who have, more than likely, barely started them too. Late-night library nights together will become a ritual, as well as getting GrubHub delivered.

7. You can complain about the Wi-Fi together.

Because we all know that the Wi-Fi decides to crap out on us whenever we have something due. That Canvas article you forgot to do that's due by midnight, and it's now 11:30 p.m.? Yup, the Wi-Fi is now out. Solid).

8. You've found a lifelong friend or friends.

Overall, college is going to be one of the most exciting parts of your lives. It's the last few years you have until you become this thing called an adult. Without your friends beside you, your emotional roller coaster would've most likely spiraled out of control.

Shout-out to my best college friends, you guys know who you are. Now let's keep on being weird together.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
