It's the most wonderful time of the year! As the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season is truly upon us, the chaos of holiday shopping is well under way. Here is some insight into the craziness, as told by Buddy The Elf:
“Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?”
It is December 23 and you’re feeling confident that you have gotten all of your Christmas shopping done. Suddenly, you realize that you forgot to get your aunt a sweater for your annual family gift exchange! Driving to the mall, you call her up and exchange the normal “How are you? I can’t wait to see you on Christmas!” tidings. Then, you sneakily throw in the question, “What is your favorite color again? My brother and I were debating it the other day” so you know what color sweater should would adore for Christmas.
“I’m a cotton-headed ninny-muggins”
You’ve spent about an hour waiting in one of those notorious holiday shopping lines, but you finally made it to the cashier, go you! All of your soon to be purchased items have been rung out and the sales have been applied. However, when the cashier asks for your credit card, you realize you are a cotton-headed-ninny-muggins because you have left your wallet in your car.
"What’s a Christmas Gram? I want one!"
Today, you set out on a mission to get your Christmas shopping done for your friends and family. However, you then hear about the latest and greatest and most fabulous new gadget that everyone has to have. Instantaneously, you get distracted and have the strong urge to just go shopping for yourself. (Don’t forget to get back on track!)
“First we'll make snow angels for a two hours, then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse cookie dough as fast as we can, and then we'll snuggle”
I’m sure everyone can attest to the fact that with the Christmas season brings a to-do list almost as large and extravagant as Buddy’s. Going to the hardware store to get outdoor supplies for Christmas lights, the seemingly endless trips to the grocery store for holiday ingredients and festivities, and let’s not forget the number of places we search to find the perfect Christmas gift for our favorite people.

You have been shopping for hours, debating over the most perfect Christmas gifts for your friends and family. You are exhausted from walking through the holiday shopping crowds and wouldn’t mind falling asleep on the nearest mall bench.
