Imagine your 5 year old self awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus. Excitement and Christmas cheer consumed you. You truly believed in the spirit of Christmas and it left you feeling warm and with a sparkle in your eye. Unfortunately, today as we grow out of the "Santa" phase our spirit for Christmas begins to fade. Our focus is on our daily activities instead of Christmas time. It is necessary to accomplish everything we need to do. However; it is important to set aside time and truly enjoy the spirit of Christmas with our inner child. We can do this by:
1. Listen to the music
While you are out christmas shopping stop and enjoy the christmas music playing in every store.
2. Sing along to christmas music
The best way to spread christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear. Let loose and belt it out.
3. Watch your favorite childhood movie
Watching your favorite movie can stir up those warm memories.
4. Admire christmas lights
Lights never fail to get you into the spirit.
5. Shake all the christmas presents
Feel the suspense of opening gifts and get excited.
