Were the offseason moves worth it?
Over the offseason the Houston Rockets acquired Ryan Anderson (4 years, $80 Million), Eric Gordon (4 years, $53 Million), Tyler Ennis (3 years, $4.9 Million). With these acquisitions the Rockets seem to have more potential, even without Dwight Howard. I think if the Rockets get their chemistry down they could be title contenders. They beat the San Antonio Spurs and stayed right with the Cleveland Cavilers and Oklahoma Thunder. Adding Ryan Anderson who averages (13 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and .6 APG) I don't think he was worth the money. But there's still time to come and chemistry to be worked on. Eric Gordon who averages (16.3 PPG, 2.2 APG, and 3 RPG) was a good person to add, if he can stay healthy. He knows how to put the ball in the hoop. Tyler Ennis who averages (3.3 PPG, 1.6 APG, and 1 RPG) wasn't a good move.
Point God
James Harden, who else would be talking about. He has been insane so far, only struggling in one game against the OKC Thunder and keeping the team still in the game. James Harden Is averaging a crazy (28.7 PPG, 12.6 APG, and 7.8 RPG). He's leading the league in assists! And he won Western Conference Player of the Week. He's second in the race to MVP. Mike D'Antoni has Harden dishing the ball all the time. Mike has done a fantastic job with this team. And with Harden leading the way I think we could be a title contender if we can get better chemistry. We could be unstoppable under D'Antoni's offense.
