How to "Fashion"

Don't confuse those confused looks; some people just don't understand style like you do.

How to "Fashion"

Spring has sprung and the summer itch is starting to burn. Try some of these latest and fiercest fashion tips and tricks and you'll be the hottest hit of the summer!

1) Peanut Butter

Fashion goes nowhere if you have soft skin, so fix it up with peanut butter! Lather that baby (poor word choice?) all over your body and watch the gooeyness seep into your skin. You know why this kid’s so smug? ‘Cause his skin is finally as smooth as he is. He’s single ladies ;)

2) Mesh Tights

Leftover mesh tights you never got to wear? Put ‘em to use! They add a much-needed texture to your face, can partially prevent you from blinking and/or seeing, and can fully prevent you from eating all day! She's loving it and so can you!

3) Boot hats

Bucket hats got you feeling confused and bored? Try a boot instead! They are protective yet dangerous, flexible yet sturdy - every quality a head piece must have. You’ll be feeling SUPREME in no time!

4) Flowers

Nothing says “I love spring” like flowers all over your face, and guess who loves flowers? Bees! That face may seem tense and terrified underneath all those flowers, but she's totally smiling.

5) Shoulder Pads

Bring a modern twist to this iconic ‘80s trend! All you need are several shoulder pads (football pads preferred) and a big ass trench coat to fit over your gains. It’s football meets Frankenstein with this look; you won't even be able to see all those girls swooning next to you!

6) Bras

Guys can have Walks of Fame too! Be proud of your night and steal a girl’s piece of clothing for once. No longer can girls just take a guy’s t-shirt after a night - assert your dominance by taking her bra and wearing it on your face. Stealing bras and hearts since '92.

7) Gumballs

Spring got you feeling bubbly? Fantastic! Grab those stale gumballs and watch as an iconic outfit is magically created.

8) Flour

So you're on your way to work when all of a sudden all this flour and white paint drops all over you! Do you cry like a baby and curse Men's Warehouse for such expensive suits? No! Ditch the suit, keep the briefcase and rock that pastey look.

Just remember folks whatever life gives/throws you, embrace it. Spring and summer are a time to try new things and being cheap has never been so sheek!

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. We are expected to study, have a social life, relationships, maybe work, and be healthy. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
