Everyone loves a good horror movie in the fall. For me Halloween is year round, and I love all things horror. I work at Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride as a scare actor, and am well versed in all things scary.

With that being said, below, in no particular order, are seven horror movies that I feel are perfect for the fall season.

1. Trick r Treat.

It is the perfect horror comedy to get you excited about Halloween. It contains multiple stories of horror all linked together, and has the cutest serial killer of any slasher film.

2. Grave Encounters.

This is one of the best found footage movies. It has the perfect amount of comedy, and pokes fun at ghost hunting TV shows. It also takes into account every ghost hunters worst nightmare.

3. Grave Encounters 2.

This sequel provides answers, mind games, and scares that can fuel nightmares. Usually sequels to horror movies are terrible, but this is the perfect way to wrap up all the loose ends.

4. The Houses October Built.

If you're a fan of found footage, this is the perfect movie for you. This movie about a road trip gone wrong will fuel your nightmares. From the view of a haunt actor this movie terrifies me because it could actually happen.

5. The Taking of Deborah Logan.

This is a documentary style film about a woman with what seems to be Dementia, but is much more sinister. This movie is great for inducing nightmares, and is terrifying.

6. It Follows.

This is a classic style horror movie that always keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. The plot is very unique, which makes it one of a kind.

7. Demonic.

This is a found footage/who did it movie that never has a dull moment. The plot is terrifying, and the ending is truly a sick twist.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
