With winter already by the doorstep, there are only a few things to call in for a warm welcome. Jackets, coats, scarves and hats are all in great demand and since temperatures drop to below 0 Celsius you understand that you have to get off your couch and go shopping. As a person who hates shopping for anything and everything, I can guarantee you that my whole jacket shopping wasn't a blast. My dad took me to a well know jacket factory and felt that somewhere in that store there would be a coat or jacket for me. I was sure of the contrary. After three rounds my head was already spinning. I mean how do people even shop? Don't they get annoyed just staring and flipping through clothes as if they were the pages of a book. As some time passed I could feel my body temperature increasing without even a coat on. I didn't find a coat my size because well I guess people don't care about the extra small size anymore.
Done with our shopping extravaganza we finally stood in the line to return some clothes. Don't even get me started on how long it was and how much time it took us to reach the front. Let me just say huge. Amidst all the depressing thoughts of having not found a perfect jacket I finally see one that I really so i turn towards my dad and I say," Dad look at that it's so cool." Next thing I know I'm already there grabbing it, while doing so I dropped a watch and this polite lady says," Mama mia that's mine." I was so ashamed and embarrassed. Has anyone ever not done this before ? I apologized freakishly and walked towards my dad who had seen the whole incident. I was so freaked out, my dad on the other hand said," Ask her where she got it. " I said, "Not after all this"! So he politely asked her in his "softest" tone and we walked back over into the coat section searching for "the one " only to find an interesting coat that fit me. It had an extra fur strap and we stood for good 15 minutes trying to figure out what that was for. I mean there was already a hoodie so why ? We asked around and based on guesses came to a conclusion that it was to make a scarf. Excited to buy the coat we headed towards the front only to realize that the coat was worth a $100. We walked right out of the store. It was 10 in the night and we had spent three disappointing hours searching for a coat and walked out without one. What a day. My dad then said, "I'm just going leave you here one whole day to sit and search for coats." My head was exploding after all I did have a headache.
