My dearest Keurig,
I can’t even begin to articulate what a true delight it is to wake up to your alluring presence each morning. Although there are far too many to list here, I want you to know several of the reasons why I adore you:
1. You are dedicated
I know you’ll always be there, morning after glorious morning.
2. You make my heart skip a beat (or maybe a few beats)
Even after all this time, my heart still begins to race after just a few minutes with you.
3. You’re always turned on when I’m ready
To brew.
4. You have a great filter
I know to expect only the best from you.
5. You satisfy all of my cravings
You know what I want and when I want it.
6. You can be so sweet
I may be the one to add a dash of sugar, but your caffeinated compassion towards my college-induced fatigue is a true act of kindness.
7. And sometimes, you’re spicy
Thanks to you and a little extra cinnamon, my day is never bland.
8. You make me feel alive
Some days, the strength you give me is the only thing that keeps me going, and you energize me when I’m feeling low.
9. You make all of my nights steamy
My bedtime routine wouldn’t be complete without you.
10. You are diverse
You’re always keeping me on my toes and introducing me to new flavors.
11. You are popular
You aim to please, and all of my friends love you.
12. You’re constantly hot for me
But you’re never too hot to handle.
13. You comfort me
Every time I need to de-stress from a long day or my latest dilemma, you offer me a peaceful remedy.
14. I’m kind of addicted to you
You’re a habit that I have no desire to quit.
15. You are passionate
I love that you’ve devoted yourself to one central purpose.
16. You’re not complicated
Amongst the many puzzling relationships in my life, your simplicity is really quite refreshing.
17. You bring me warmth
In the midst of a cold winter, you warm my heart, my body, and my soul.
So cheers to you, my beloved Keurig! I wish I could adequately express my appreciation for you and the way that you’ve been there for me through everything—intense study sessions, procrastinated papers, and those late-night conversations that somehow last until morning. I’m not sure how you do it all, but you should know that you are utterly irreplaceable and that I am forever indebted to you. I love you very, very much.
