Which is better: doing homework or doing tests? I prefer doing homework to doing tests. Homework is shorter than tests. You can resort to the Internet and other people for help. Memorization is not needed when doing homework. Some teachers and professors do not correct students' work when they grade homework. They just give a one hundred for completion. This is the circumstance where students do not need to spend too much on homework.
Tests, on the other hand, require memorization. The amount of time students use to study varies because of the amount of material on the test, the test's difficulty, how they absorb the material, and their performance on tests. Some students do not need to study. Some students need some time to study. Some students need a lot of time to study. Using a lot of time to study is upsetting because students cannot spare some time for their priorities and to have fun. Homework, however, will ensure that students will have some spare time. To lessen the time for studying, students should study each day. That way, they do not need to cram material at the last minute and it will be easier for them to absorb the material day by day. Also, they do not need to use a lot of time to study when the day of the test is near.
Tests are where the teachers and professors will grade students' work. Students hope to get the highest score that they get. Most importantly, they have to pass. If they fail, it's worse than having difficult homework. Their grades will go down if they fail. If they do their homework, their grades can go up. Homework grades maintain the students' grades by ensuring that they will pass the class even though they did not pass their tests.
