If you are a sushi lover like me, than you probably have your favorite sushi restaurant. This restaurant is probably located in your hometown. I am an avid sushi lover and whenever someone even says something remotely about sushi, I get all happy inside. Sushi is definitely on my top list of foods that I could not live without. As a college kid, sushi is one of those things you can't just get that easy. The sushi restaurants are not the best, and are kinda more expensive than normal. Sometimes you just have to settle and eat the stuff.
One of the best things to happen to you if you love sushi is that your social life blossoms. Everyone always wants to go out and get sushi with you. Everyday a new person asks if you wanna grab some sushi. Sushi gives you a network of friends and relationships, it is great! I have found some of my favorite sushi restaurants in my journey to loving sushi. Those restaurants are the ones that happen to be right where I live. There is something about eating sushi in your hometown, with the people you love the most that makes me tick.
As I make my way back to school, I would like to thank my hometown sushi restaurants. Oishi and Kyoto, you never fail to impress me. The 50-percent-off menu gives college kids like me hope, that we can find good sushi for a nice price. Your rolls make me all warm and fuzzy inside and the soy sauce/wasabi mixture is to die for. The options are endless. The spicy crunchy tuna and the spicy girl roll are my ultimate favorites. I will truly miss them this school year. As I embark on my journey on eating college sushi for the next year, I will think back to how much my hometown sushi restaurants mean to me. You have been too good to me.
