Coming home for the holidays from college can be a very weird time. Nothing beats a good home cooked meal and having zero stress of school work. However, all of a sudden your college social life turns into a game of 20-questions with your extended family. Your freedom is dependant on your family plans and your life is now the peak of everybody's interest. As I said, it's a weird time--one that can only be accurately described through a series of quotes from the one and only, Eric Forman.
1. That feeling when you finish your last final and get to go home.
Giphy2. When you spend your first night back in your own bed.
Giphy3. When you taste a homecooked meal for the first time in way too long.
Giphy4. When your mom says the WHOLE family is going to be at Christmas.
Giphy5. When your family asks you how finals went.
Giphy6. That feeling of your extended family asking you every question possible about life at school.
Giphy7. The realization that going out to dinner at home means you don't have to pay.
Giphy8. The second realization that going out to dinner at home means talking about your grades and the angel you are at school.
Giphy9. When your mom sends you to the grocery store and you see every old teacher, neighbor, and family friend there who are prepared to ask you 100 questions about college.
Giphy10. When being at home means you finally get to hang out with your hometown best friends... Buuuut your mom sets a curfew.
Giphy11. But overall, there is nothing like being home from college to be with your closest family and friends.
GiphyHappy Holidays to every college student at home; enjoy it while you can.
