Everyone knows how Finals Week is. We all know that the only light at the end of the tunnel is being able to escape campus, and head home for break.
I find that Christmas break is a time to relax, or be on the go all day. Break has been nice so far for me. It has been great to be able to sleep in (until my younger siblings come in to my room in the morning). It is nice to have no worries, see your old friends, and to visit family.
When I come home, I get this feeling of relief that I didn't even realize I needed or that I was that tense. Knowing that I have a month off to not worry about being at work or making sure I don't procrastinate too long on that paper or homework that's due is great. It's nice to be stress free. Well, for the time being.
With the next semester approaching quickly, we begin to start thinking about what job we are going to have for the summer. Even though we just had out first snowfall, summer jobs remain in our heads.
My suggestion is to take it one day at a time and try to enjoy the rest of your break. Worry about the summer jobs during the semester along with everyone else. If it's meant to be it will be.
Happy holidays!
