This one is for my makeup lovers! Happy New Year!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills -- Dipbrow -- $18

It's time to make sure your eyebrows are on fleek. Show off your brow game by dipping your brush in some dipbrow and defining your brow shape however you please. Don't forget to blend out with a spooly!

2. Kat von D -- Liquid Eyeliner in Trooper -- $20

Kat's liner is the love of my life. This liquid liner comes as a pen, and it is the blackest of blacks. Although, she does have an array of other colors. This pen is easy to use, and it's super pointy for that perfect winged liner!

3. Lorac -- The Resort Eye/Cheek Palette -- $185

This palette is definitely on the pricier side of things, but I promise you it is most definitely worth it! Complete with six gorgeous eyeshadows, 3 of them being matte and 3 of them being reflective, two blushes, the perfect bronzer to sculpt your face with, and a more than beautiful highlighter to satisfy all of your glazed donut needs.

4. Too Faced -- Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara -- $23

This mascara is a holy grail product! I use it every day, and I have rebought this product several times! It makes your lashes lusciously long and thick! Not to mention, the packaging on the waterproof mascara is out of this world; it's tiffany blue with water droplets covering it. It really is waterproof as well. I used to go swimming with this on my lashes, and I never had a problem! Just a little bit of makeup remover, and the product just glides right off. This is a must buy.

5. Dose of Colors -- Baked Highlighter in Peach Glow -- $28

This color is beautiful on almost every skin tone. It shows reflect of gold and peachy tones. It's almost champagne when the light catches your cheek bones. I highly suggest this product; it goes with every look .

6. Stila -- In the Lights Palette -- $58

Forget everything you know about the Naked 2 palette because I've got something better for you. This palette include 10 beautiful nude shades. Four of which are matte, and the other six shades are shimmers. The palette also comes with a waterproof eyeliner.

7. Fiona Stiles -- Sheer Sculpting Palette -- $28

This was my second contour kit ever. Let me tell you, I have never seen a palette do what Fiona Stiles' palette does. She does not get enough credit for this. All three shades in this palette worked perfectly with my skin tone, and it even looked like a shadow. The contour from this palette looked completely natural.

8. Stila -- Stay All Day Liquid Lip in Rubino -- $24

The perfect cool toned red lip, and it actually stay all day! I wear Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Lips on the daily. I rarely need to touch them up either! These are a blessing in my life, especially since a lip liner isn't necessary.

9. Smashbox -- Photo Finish Primer -- $36

Smashbox wasn't kidding when the said photo finish. Everytime I wear this under my makeup, my pores vanish underneath my foundation.

10. Kat von D -- lock-it concealer creme -- $26

If you need a concealer to hide dark circles, this is the concealer for you. This concealer is thicker than most, but it blends out beautifully and covers everything! This product is totally worth the hype!

11. Becca -- Backlight Priming Filter -- $38

This primer helps you achieve that glow effortlessly. You can even notice it under thicker foundations like the one I use (see #12). It is honestly one of my favorite products, and I will be repurchasing it.

12. Urban Decay -- All Nighter Foundation -- $40

This foundation is amazing; comparable to Kat von D's lock-it tattoo foundation, it stays in place for a full 12 hours (sometimes longer if I fall asleep before taking off my makeup). Definitely worth your $40!

13. Nyx -- Liquid Lingerie Lips -- $6.99

I thought $7 was a little pricey for a drugstore lip product, but the second I put these on my lips, I realized I was wrong. The consistency is a bit thicker than others, but these are a great dupe for a lot of the liquid lips out there.

14. Ardell -- Wispie Lashes -- $3.99

I love my lashes, but I also love them cheap. These are a steal! Four dollars for a pair and your eyes look bomb af?! Stack two pairs to look out of this world!

15. Urban Decay -- Beauty with an Edge Palette -- $40

This is my go to palette for when I want to go out, and with New Year's Eve coming up, I am sure to be using this a lot 11 out of the 12 shadows are shimmer shadows and then there is the Urban Decay famous Blackout shadow. This palette will give you an intense smokey eye for any party. I will be carrying this into 2017 with me!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
