SING is the animal version of American Idol, but without a whole lot more emotion, and a ton more laughs. With Performances from Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, and Seth McFarlane, the audience will be in stitches until the very end.

4 - Hacksaw Ridge

Everyone loves a good war film, and everyone loves a good comeback. With Hacksaw Ridge, audiences get both. They get the story of the valiant war hero Desmond T. Doss, as well as the comeback of Mel Gibson in the director's chair. Critics are calling it a welcome return for Gibson as well as a harrowing performance in the leading role by Andrew Garfield. People are going so far as to say it is going to be nominated for a few Academy Awards. Seeing as how it has already been nominated for some Golden Globe awards, the film must be one that people fo see this holiday season.

3 - La La Land

La La Land is the latest effort from Whiplash director Damien Chazelle, and oh boy is it a doozy. This film is already garnering appeal for it being a musical, as well as from the acting from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Many are already calling it the Best Picture of the year, but only time will tell. Because it is a musical, audiences will be singing along with the catchy songs and be singing them on their way out of the theater at the end.

2 - Passengers

Science fiction films always seem to be muddled with superheroes, remakes, rewrites, and sequels. It is very rarely that audiences get to see a truly original story that takes audiences on a wild ride, and Passengers is exactly that. The performances of Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence will leave the audiences with their jaws agape, and the twists and turns along the way will be more than enough to make the movie a holiday season success.

1 - Star Wars: Rogue One

While this one may be cheating a little, due to its popularity, but it would be a crime to not include one of the highest anticipated movies of the entire year. Star Wars: Rogue One is the first movie that breaks away from the tried and true formula of the main series of Star Wars. Rogue One is what is called an Anthology story; it is not a numbered episode of the main series, but it is a "spin-off" that helps explain the universe. Star Wars fans around the world have been eager to see this new addition to the series, and people everywhere have been lining up to see the film. Star Wars: Rogue One is the quintessential holiday season movie that every must see.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
