With Christmas being about only three weeks away, everyone is probably trying to do their holiday shopping. It can be hard to shop for some people because you're not exactly sure what they'd like. College students, for example, may need and want many things. If you're not sure what to get a college student for Christmas, here are eight things that they may greatly appreciate.

1. Sleep

This is something that we can never get enough of. Just letting us relax and sleep in over winter break can be one of the best gifts to receive.

2. No Questions About Their Future

College can be stressful enough as it is. Asking us about what we plan to do after we graduate only adds on to it for some of us. Many college students are just taking each semester as it comes and may be undecided about what they want to do, and that's okay.

3. A Netflix Subscription

Honestly, who doesn't love Netflix? If you don't already have a subscription, it would be a really good idea to get one. There's hundreds of movies and TV shows that are available to watch on your phone, tablet, or computer. To top it off, it's only $10 per month, which really isn't bad considering there's an unlimited amount of movies and TV shows right at your finger tips.

4. A Smart-pen

People are constantly inventing new ways to make our lives easier. One thing that would make our lives easier in the classroom is having a smart-pen. These devices allow you to record an entire lecture while you write. When you want to review a certain section of notes, you push the pen down on the words and it automatically plays back that part of the lecture. This also means never missing notes from a lecture because the professor talks too fast.

5. Starbucks And Target gift cards

Starbucks and Target are too things I can never get enough of. With Starbucks, you can get coffee, which most college students practically live off of. Target just has everything. It's almost impossible to walk in for one thing and not walk back out with multiple items.

6. Noise Canceling Headphones

I own a pair of Beats headphones that I received for Christmas a few years back, and I absolutely love them. There are several great brands out there. Having a nice pair of headphones is great for studying and for when you just want to keep to yourself.

7. Amazon Echo Dot

This small, hands-free and voice activated device allows you to play music, get information, and set alarms. All you have to do is say whatever command you want from across the room, and the devices automatically listens.

8. Fitbit

These devices are pretty cool as well. They are bracelets that you wear when you work out or are just carrying on with your day-to-day life. There are several different models available. These bracelets can track your steps, heart rate, set silent alarms, and so much more. They even allow you to compete with your friends when working out.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
