Yes, you can choose to go with the traditional Christmas tree, holly, lights and stockings, or you could fill your house with some of the most ridiculous holiday decorations out there. Why not add a little extra flair to the season with some of these "interesting" items that are sure to bring out the holiday spirit in your humble abode.

1. Unique lawn decorations

For example, this light-up BB8 from "Star Wars", wearing a santa hat. He will surely force the the Christmas spirit upon you and your neighbors. You can buy it here or look for other unique lawn decorations to brighten up the holidays.

2. Light-up sweater

You can become the decorations yourself with a light-up holiday sweater this year. It's like a you're wearing a Christmas party wherever you go. If that doesn't shout, "I'm in the holiday spirit!," I don't know what will.

3. Pet costumes

Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph are all great reindeer, but you know what would be even better? Turning your dog into a reindeer by getting this costume for them dog here. Now your pooch can be a holiday decoration as well.

4. A vintage beer can ornament

Beer surely gets people in the holiday spirit. This would be perfect on any college kid's Christmas tree. If you feel like you can't live through the holidays without it, here it is.

Why are these a thing? No one really knows, but they sure do scream "Happy Holidays" if you ask me. You can buy this 15 foot gingerbread archway and other giant inflatables here.

...because that’s not creepy at all. Just imagine waking up on Christmas morning to a life-size santa sitting in your living room. Not sure if that would be a nightmare or a dream for people, but it sure is unique. For a whopping $1,119 (plus shipping) he could be yours.

8. Giant stockings

To go with your giant Santa, you'll obviously need some giant stockings to hang on the mantle as well. A small child could sleep in this 5 foot stocking, which makes it very versatile as well. Totally worth the $20.

9. Christmas-themed shower curtains

Even bathrooms need the Christmas spirit thrust upon them this holiday season. Society6 offers various fun and unique options for holiday decorations like this shower curtain.

10. Self-snowing tree

You can make your house a winter wonderland with this tree that makes it's own snow. Wow. Isn't technology great for giving us things like this? Amazon has just the tree for you if this looks like a good idea this holiday season.

11. Christmas bedding

Once again, Society6 covers all of your holiday decorating needs with some Christmas themed bedding.

12. Four-foot-tall leg lamp.

Yes, you can purchase the famous leg lamp from "A Christmas Story" and it's only $200. That's a steal if you ask me. This could also be a really nice year-round decoration if you wanted it to be.

13. Yoda Christmas Tree topper

To keep up with the "Star Wars" Christmas theme, you can get a Yoda tree topper that lights up. The holidays just aren't complete without a mini Yoda staring down at you from your tree.
