One of the largest money making industries of the holiday season is the coffee industry. From Starbucks to Scooter's to Caribou Coffee, the coffee industry is endless with options. People out and about Christmas shopping can't help but stop in for a cup of joe. As a coffee industry employee, I have made my list of the best holiday drinks.

7. Eggnog Latte

Eggnog itself is a very unusual drink. It has an acquired taste, so making it into a latte only pleases a small population of people. If you love Eggnog, you will love the Eggnog latte.

6. Gingerbread Cookie Latte

The Gingerbread Cookie Latte is a very mild holiday drink, which is probably why it is so low on the ratings.

5. Hot Cinnamon Roll Latte

The Hot Cinnamon Roll is a hidden drink on the Scooter's menu and is one that any coffee lover will fall in love with. Pair this with a cinnamon roll

4. Peppermint Mocha

Many of you may be surprised at how low on the ratings this holiday favorite is. However, I believe the Peppermint Mocha is almost too rich. I can barely drink a cup of it because it is so sweet.

3. Cranberry White Mocha

This new holiday drink is a lot better than it sounds. It is a white mocha with a sweet cranberry aftertaste that will refresh your holiday experience.

2. Pumpkin Spice Latte

Call me basic, but you have to be crazy to not like the pumpkin spice. The pumpkin spice latte is so good and addicting. I am a die hard fan and I have no idea what it is that makes it so good and delicious. If you are lucky enough to have a coffee shop still serving the pumpkin spice, go and treat yo' self.

1. Peppermint White Mocha

Peppermint White Mocha is absolutely amazing. If you are a fan of Ghiradelli's Peppermint Bark, you will love the Peppermint White Mocha. It will make any Grinch smile.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
