105 people die every minute, that's 6,300 per hour, and 151,600 every day... So why do we feel the need to not treat are lives to be valuable? Why do we choose to not accept and love? Why are we so selfish that we can't see past our own benefit?
Unfortunately, like many others, I have experienced the harsh wrath of unexpected death and death, in general, more than I wish to say. In a way I have become more humble in life, but why did it take losing my father and close friends/family to get me to this point? Why do we have to look death in the face to understand this is what happens? We know death is inevitable and yet we still choose to wake up every day with the same outlook on life.
If we all learned to start each day with a brand new beginning and a desire to be optimistic we wouldn't regret life. In life, we choose to stand against our loved ones because we can. We turn our backs on the people we love the most until it's too late.
It's important we stop and realize that numbers don't discriminate. At any second we could be a part of that 151,600.
Forgive, love, and support. Hold your loved ones close because we are at a time where hate is evident in our society and whether you believe in a higher power or not we are paying for it. Life is so valuable please don't take it for granted.
