Some people are born with grace. Others are cursed with none. If you fall at least once a month, are unsteady on flat ground, or just can't seem to find your footing; know that you are not alone. Clumsiness is just part of your charm. Here are 10 things that clumsy people know to be true.
1. You need the right shoes.
Your new heels are very pretty, but the challenge you have is walking in them. They won't be so pretty when you are face down in the middle of the street.
2. The winter is the worst.
One word: Ice. It is the season when you are know to walk like a penguin just so you don't fall while walking to class.
3. You + Alcohol = Bye
Mixing an ungraceful person with a beverage that is known to make you unable to walk is just bad. The chance that you will fall down goes from 50/50 to 100 percent.
4. You tend to walk with your head down.
You need to look at where you are going at all times just in case there is a raised sidewalk or a random bottle. You can fall over anything.
5. Jennifer Lawrence made falling cool.
If she can fall in front of the world in a ball gown, who cares if you fall down in front of the cute guy in class?
6. You are great at recovering.
Most people would hide after a tumble, but you are so immune to it by now that it is almost like your morning cup of coffee.
7. Trying to text and walk is a bad idea.
Just wait until you are waiting to cross a street. It just isn't worth face planting on a side walk.
8. Who put that air there?!
Sometimes you just trip over nothing. Its okay. It happens. Just get up and act like it is nothing. No one saw I promise.
9. Sometimes you wonder if you are a meme.
You have to admit that when you fall it is kinda funny. So funny, in fact, that you are surprised that you aren't a meme by now. Or are you?
10. Your bruises are battle scars.
You wake up with a bruise here or a scrape there and it's a normal occurrence for you. Some have funny stories, but others you just want to forget. They are all a part of you.
What is grace even?
