Yes, Your Hoeness Can Be Deleted

You can only change how you feel about your reputation

Had a little too much fun with men?

Kind of ran with too many crews?

Kind of creep a little too much, and it caught up with you?

Hear the rumors about you, but ignore them?

What about just had sex with a few of the WRONG men and automatically got labeled as a hoe?

Being labeled a hoe could conflict with a having a great relationship with somebody, or even make women feel that a man would not see the good in them if he knew the rumors. Worse, it could make her feel unworthy to be with a good man.

Well luckily, I am here to tell you if you have a hoe sheet…

IT CAN BE DELETED!

BUT The only person who can delete your ho sheet is YOU!

The moment you stop owning the title of a hoe, is when your hoeness can be deleted. Yeah, I know, the past can’t be deleted, but how you feel about who you are and what you represent can! Understand that you had a previous life, you lived it sexually, but it doesn’t show the essence of who you are as a person. It’s up to you to hold yourself accountable for the things you’ve done, be fine with it, and move along!

Guys gossip more than women! Trust me! You think that one night you had with somebody was a secret, understand that somebody knows! Just like we tell our friends, they tell theirs! The only thing we can control as women is what we respond to the comments! What we think of ourselves! If one or a few men degrade the value of you, trust me there will be one man that see the greatness in you.

When I sat in my bed writing this blog, I thought about how rumors can affect the lives of women. The way they think, act and respond can be because of nasty rumors. They uphold their given reputation by acting as such and by believing they are what people say they are.

As women we can choose to care about what men say about us, or we can understand we are human and we TOO make mistakes similar to men. Society, AKA men and sometimes women, puts so much pressure on women to have it all together. They expect us to have a strict dignity about ourselves and expect us to automatically know our self-worth, like we came out of the womb with instruction! We are supposed to be conservative, be strong, be feminine and sexual objects!

I mean ladies, let’s be real!

To dodge being labeled a whore, we have to be damn near perfect! Don’t dare make a mistake! But the men who want these type of women, cheat with the exact opposite! This type of woman a man will go as to far to CHEAT with!

We shouldn’t allow ourselves to be judged by hypocrites- the type of hypocrites that preach one thing and go after another! We are not perfection!

As for women, who are holier than thou, save it! Because it’s my belief that every woman has had a hoe moment!

Just because you disguised your hoe moments by being someone’s girlfriend every 4 months doesn’t make you any better than the woman who decided to bypass the bs and just get what she wanted out of it! We are ALL learning at the same level! Please don’t judge!

So never in life let a man determined your value, because what he calls you is what he enjoys- period! You can sit at home and be conservative and whatever else that suppose to signify a good respectable woman, or you can be yourself! Whatever that means for you!

Yes, hoeness can be deleted by that special one. There will always be someone out there that is willing to love you despite everything someone has said about you. Being a victim of hoe calling doesn’t necessarily means you were a hoe. Men call women hoes based on the smallest thing. These type of men don’t think about how they could ruin our reputation by their lack of understanding of who we are.

Trust me, I’ve been called a hoe. Whether I was one or not, I was being called a hoe based on something they heard or one incident they seen.

Being friendly can even make you labeled as a ho.

IT DOESNT MATTER!

So take your ho sheet and shred it. Hell, it’s almost 2017!

New year,

NEW YOU!

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
