This is the weekend you’ve all been waiting for since you moved in. This is the weekend where you get to see your friends and family. This is the weekend that you get to dress in your school colors and support the football team. This is the weekend you get to push aside all your homework until the very last minute because you’re just too busy having fun, and that is okay.

Homecoming weekend is where you get the chance to see your school come together as one and cheer on the football team during their big game. The fans, parents, students, coaches, and teammates are all cheering and chanting and it is honestly the best experience. Some of you have been waiting for this day since your senior year in high school. The idea of college is so exciting, but don’t wish your time away. Enjoy every moment and opportunity that comes your way. You’ll get there when you get there.

It’s game day and you’re in your dorm room getting ready with your friends. Decked out in your school colors, school apparel, and probably carrying around some Dunkin Donuts iced coffee or hot chocolate. Streets are filled with students and cars walking to the field. Seeing everyone come together for an event is so cool watching it all come together. Bleachers are filled with students, kids, parents, siblings, grandparents…everyone is here to support the school and the team.

The crowd goes wild when your team gets a touchdown. The crowd stands up and cheers when the quarterback on the opposing team throws an interception and your team takes it for a pick 6…that is one of the craziest moments. The team just builds up their confidence and their adrenaline after incredible plays, and with the help of their support system behind them, it helps them get higher up on the scoreboard.

Both teams are tied and that’s when things can get messy, but it depends if your team knows how to get out of a tied game and stick together to take the lead on the board. One of the greatest things is seeing your school come together to support the teams. No matter if they’re winning or losing, the fans are always cheering and lifting them up.

It’s the fourth quarter and your team is in the lead with minutes to go. Do they give up just because they’re in the lead? No. They keep trying until the very last second.

Your team wins. Fans go crazy. Players are running on the field to celebrate. Parents are proud of their sons for playing their hearts out. But there is one thing that everyone has in common, and that is their pride in winning the big homecoming game.

Next is where all the parties take place and everyone talks about the game. The amazing plays that were made. The yelling and cheering of the fans. Everyone is there to make memories and have fun. There is nothing better than school pride, and taking part in these events make you fall in love with your school even more.

Being able to participate in school events is such a fun and memorable time. Don't miss out, have fun, get decked out in your school apparel, and cheer on your team even if it takes losing your voice the next day.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
