There is so much talent in this world and in our own backyards, but sadly that talent sometimes flies under the radar. Why does good talent go unnoticed?

Well, there are a plethora of reasons. It might be because potential employees don’t know where to look for job postings. Or because employers are putting their message in the right place. This gap of human error has been around for as long as people have been working aka forever!

If only there was a way for employers to find the employees they have been searching for. Oh wait, there is, thank you Google! It’s 2017 and hiring people is now as easy as clicking a button!

But before we talk about where to post those job openings we must cover something a little more important; what to say in the job posting.

Writing a job posting has many characteristics. It needs a solid description, call to action, the qualifications and how to apply. Luckily, there are templates out there that pretty much tell you what to include in each job description!

Ok now, we can talk about where to post your job! There are a number of different platforms, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, local job boards–you name it, there is a place to post your job openings!

For an even easier experience, Proven allows users to post their jobs to over 25 job boards! Maybe with all the extra time you have after posting once instead of 50 different times you can finally watch all the TV shows that are saved on your DVR!

Finding employees shouldn’t be the hardest thing you do all day, week or month. It should be the easiest!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
