If The HIMYM Characters Went Greek

It would probably be legendary.

If there's any TV show that hilariously portrays the craziness, complexity and beauty of love and life, it's definitely "How I Met Your Mother." We've seen them, we've related to them, we've loved them and we've probably walked in their shoes at one point or another.

But what if they were in our shoes as current college students today? Since Greek life is such a huge part of college life for many students out there, let's take a look at what Greek life could be like if it was done "HIMYM" style.

Marshall Eriksen:

We all adore him because he's the sensitive, sweet and hardworking individual we all hope to resemble at some point in our lives. That being said, these traits, along with many others, are what makes him the perfect selection for Sigma Nu. Being Ted's best friend (but don't tell Barney), he is full of advice and tends to embrace the world from a very logical point of view while holding moral standards in very high regards both generally and personally. Marshall regards his pursuit of becoming a lawyer almost as highly as his own personal dream to save the environment.

Lily Aldrin:

The Bonnie to Marshall's Clyde, Lily shares some of the lovable qualities that Marshall possesses. She is very zealous towards those she loves and is deeply devoted to her friendships around her. Having a natural motherly personality, she is very compassionate and understanding towards the other members of the gang--which sounds exactly like the sweet and caring Phi Mu she would no doubt be! Lily would spend most of her time bonding with her sisters and making as many memories as possible, all while willingly volunteering for various philanthropies for children any chance she can get. Because she's determined in her studies to be an elementary school teacher, Phi Mu would make a great title to put on her resume. Not to mention the friends she would make and the adventures she would have in the process!

Ted Mosby:

Haaaaaaave you met Ted? Being our favorite hopeless romantic and lover for philosophical thinking, Ted would be the perfect fit for the small but sophisticated architecture fraternity Alpha Rho Chi. He enjoys learning and discussing different topics of higher thinking while also pursuing his dream of owning his own architecture firm. From discussing different building structures to quoting poetry, Ted is the cookie-cutter resemblance of what Alpha Rho Chi represents. Besides, he needs someone other than Barney and the rest of the gang to listen to (or torture with, if need be) his lectures on infrastructure and design.

Barney Stinson:

Rushing Pi Kappa Alpha? Challenge accepted. Besides a suit, nothing fits Barney better than being a member of Pike. Always living in the moment, he is the definition of an extrovert and is very impulsive when it comes to accepting crazy, adventurous and almost impossible challenges from the rest of the gang. Never passing up the chance to get Ted to tag along in his escapades with him, Barney would likewise be the hilarious and energetic member of Pike that ties the brotherhood together, always making sure a good time is being had by all.

Robin Sherbatsky:

The embodiment of independence, our beloved Robin Sparkles would most likely choose to not even rush at all. Being as focused as possible when it comes to pursuing her career, she most likely wouldn't have the time or energy to participate in normal sorority events/activities. Robin would much rather spend her time drinking a scotch old enough to buy it's own scotch or at the shooting range than rushing. Besides, with all of the jokes about her past stardom and her Canadian culture from Barney, she wouldn't mind not being a part of Greek life. I mean, the embarrassment of the infamous Robin Sparkles has to die down somehow.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
