Highways are long roads,
Highways are long stretches that take your soul,
Long nights, full of city lights,
Full of memories and full of fights.
Highways make you snooze,
Also laughing, just crusing, working on your night moves.
Highways can also lead to a stretch of darkness,
Highways are places people like to hide,
When their mind is in a twist, and all they see is the other side.
Highways are the doors people try to tear down to get the other end,
Highways can also make your life come to an end.
This is life,
There are two kinds of highways, the good and the bad.
Highways are never ending places, even for the sad.
Its a place to think, a place to drink, but life could be gone in a blink.
Which highway will you choose? Take the highway that you won't lose.
This poem is about highways and what I see highways as, and what highways are meant to be. Not just something you drive on, but something much more deeper than that. Hope you all enjoy.
