We learn many skills in high school; Some things we might never utilize again, and other experiences might be life-changing. As we develop into young adults in the education system, many things can be overlooked and forgotten. Here are 5 things I learned in high school that prepared me for the real college experience:
1. Take risks.
2. Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.
3. Know that you have the potential to improve.
4. Don't limit your friendships.
5. Just be yourself.
"High school is what kind of grows you into the person you are. I have great memories, good and bad, some learning experiences and some that I'll take with me the rest of my life." – Giancarlo Stanton
