I started high school in 2002, which was quite some time ago if you really think about it. Although the headline says iPod, I didn't own one in high school. My music was listened to on a CD player and to get a playlist of songs you liked, you had to download them and burn them onto a disc to take with you. Eventually, MP3 players became a thing and I transitioned my song choices to one of them, but that wasn't until later in my high school career. In 2003, I was still rocking the CD player and giant headphones. My music choices are super varied and I've always been willing to listen to multiple genres. a list of all the songs I found "cool" back then. Pssst! I still listen to some of them.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself?
