Dear High School Friends

Thank you for going through the awkward stage with me.

Dear High School Friends,

I remember graduation day like it was just yesterday. I think back to how young we were (even though we felt so old at the time) and see how far we've come. Some of us have full-time jobs, some still in college, some married, some spread out all over the United States. We've all went separate paths but I will always cherish the time we get to catch up.

I wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for going through the awkward stage with me. We all went through that stage and embraced it. Even though I cringe looking back at some of the pictures we took and thinking about some of the things we did, I will always be glad I had others to lean on as I grew up.

Thank you for shaping me into who I am today. Whether it was supporting me during competitions or giving me advice on boys, you guys were there for me during the highs and lows.

When graduation came, even though I was excited for the new experiences to come, I felt uneasy thinking about life after high school. Would I make friends? Would I feel comfortable and fit in? Would I have people to lean on in the rough times? I know the answers to those questions now and can say I'm happy with where I have come and am always excited to see what you've been doing. Lets catch up more often.

Thank you for still being my friends,

Your High School Friend
