Its not secret that 29 out of the 50 states have legalized marijuanna, but has fashion started to legalize it too?No one says you have to be a "pothead" to love weed, and Who says you have to smoke weed to embrace it? Our California friends certaintly don't think so.There are so many stores that are popping up with weed themed garments. Take a look into weed couture and its "growing" trend.

When Miley Cyrus surprised us all with her pot inspired bodysuit, it was a sure thing that she would get scrutinized for it. Incredibly, the opposite happened! She started a revolution and now, marijuana inspired print is blowing up. Miley isn't the only celebrity who wants to wear “high-fashion.” We all know Rihanna is notorious for her risk-taking I don't give a... .attitude. So, it would only make sense that Rihanna rocks a glammed-up pot leaf. As a feminist icon, Rihanna empowers women to wear whatever makes you feel great. Celebrities always inspire streetwear trends, but the marijuana trend has finally gone couture.

Jeremy Scott has always been known for his electric colored clothing. Its boldness is what makes Jeremy Scott the perfect designer to crush weed-inspired couture. Jeremy’s company, Blank Space, functions as a fashion house seeking mostly cannabis friendly clients. Blank Space and Adidas teamed up to create the leaf motif, an edgy take on the popular plant.

In 2015, pot hit the runway. Mara Hoffman released her Spring RTW line featuring luminous motif patterns. Less than a year later, Alexander Wang came out with his cannabis-infused collection. Pot leaf motifs mixed with lace makes for a grungy-chic style. Is marijuana the new black?

Wondering how much it costs for sports luxury marijuana clothes? Designer, Saint Laurent, created a “Baja” hoodie which is valued at $1600 dollars. Talk about an expensive plant! Every couture piece has to come with the perfect accessories. Alexander Wang created a pot motif handbag worth over $500. The jewelry world has found ways of dazzling the pot leaf too. Designer, Jacque Aiche creates pieces that are inspired by nature. Her influence of weed is a statement of empowerment and a love for the earth. These luxury designers are breaking the "hippy-dippy" stigma about marijuana.

Picture this: you’re on point with your Alexander Wang leaf mini, when you suddenly realize clothing isn’t enough. You need more weed! Luckily, businesswomen, Cheryl Shuman, created a service where you can be in contact with weed-couture loving friends. Shuman founded The Beverly Hills Cannabis Club. It is the first luxury marijuana group. Also, One of the most influential women, Whoopi Goldberg, has created a line of luxury weed-based products. Her company, Whoopie and Maya, is about embracing weed culture and letting it empower you. Their lavish products include hemp scrubs and cannabis oils.

The High-life has become more than a silly pun.You are now able to strut in your real Mary Jane’s. I hope to see Ellie Saab and Marc Bouwer take the pot leaf to the runway. Cameron Diaz wearing pot leafs by Sabb? That would be something.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
