The film is about three female African American mathematicians who try to prove themselves capable of doing their jobs while facing oppression over their race and gender. The film takes place during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. These three engineers are brave enough to contribute to the American space program and make America great while they struggle to prove to others, and even America, that they are also great. Here are some reasons you should watch the movie.

1. The movie will inspire you to fulfill your passions, regardless of any obstacles that you may face.
