The city of Murray, the place that I've called home now for 21 years, is a very special and unique town. Murray was named "Friendliest Small Town in America" in 2012 by Rand McNally and USA TODAY, and is also home to Murray State University. Being a college town, Murray has always had a wide variety of restaurants as well as a surplus of shops and stores throughout the city. One of my favorite activities to do even in my own hometown is to discover a new unique restaurant or a little shop downtown that I've never been to before. It's amazing what kind of hidden treasures you can find in any town if you decide to be a little adventurous. Below is a list of several amazing places that you don't want to miss out on in Murray, Kentucky.
