Oxford is as secretive, surprising and magical as a storybook. While walking through the streets you may feel as if you have been transported into a land of medieval knights in shining armor and damsels in distress due to the cobblestones and university buildings that look like castles. Peering through the iron gates you'll see lush gardens, magnificent statues and doors so ornately carved they cannot possibly be real -- but they are.
