"Lizzie McGuire" was every early 2000's girl idol. She stuck with us through thick and thin, and we shared her greatest moments (remember when she kissed Aaron Carter?!). These are 11 times "Lizzie McGuire" described your life.

1. When you were 'so over' being told what to do.

Lizzie is the queen of sass, and we all felt her pain when she was trying to grow up, sometimes too fast. But hey...she just wanted a BRA!

2. But then you realize that being a grown up with freedom is THE WORST

You're finally into adulthood, but it isn't the land of 'pizza for breakfast' that you thought it would be. Instead, you can barely afford Papa John's and save up for the weekly coffee out. What are bills? Do people still do taxes by hand??

3. When you get real about school life

Let's be honest, high school is rough. And nobody described the realness of fake friends than the queen of style herself.

4. When you realize that the dating game is more like Jumanji

You're confused, you're in pain and you just want to go home.

5. When you're feeling yourself

Some days you just know you're rocking it. Your hair's all crimped up and you're ready to take on the world.

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
